| Gatorfoam Board 3/16 inch thickness, is an excellent choice for constructing tunnel portals, retaining walls, sidewalks, streets, backdrops, and larger scale buildings.
Gatorfoam is also a very good choice for Garden Railroading since it is approved for long term outdoor use.
Gatorfoam has a center of Styrofoam polystyrene with a durable veneer of Luxell. Luxell is a multi-layered, resin-impregnated Kraft paper. The result is a material with a very stable and rigid outer layer.
Gatorfoam can be cut with a bandsaw or table saw, or drilled with a power drill and shaped with a router. A utility knife can be used, it may take several passes of the blade.
Adhere your paper printouts to Gatorfoam with wood glue, white glue, or water-based contact cement.
