I completed my model, and I am very pleased with how the 3 mm fire kit worked out.

As a hobby I've been making decorative in home birdhouses for years. Birdhaus.weebly.com. (It was a fun hobby and, remarkably, people in LA will pay top dollar for decorative birdhouses). That said, I have a daughter and while practicing for a doll house build I tested my tools and ability on a bar night light. I finished this, (video included)the first one, a week ago. Without Evan Designs it never would have come to life. This is a very small project. I know you see huge builds and incredible talent... just know there's small time enthusiasts that would be lost without your product.
Wonderful book sculpture
Just to show you what i have done with your precious lights, I'm a book sculptor... In this sculpture I used 2 x 3V changing lights !

Thanks for sending my order here's an update of what I've done with them!! Chris
Enlightening the World
Thanks so much for sending out the LED we talked about, it worked perfect.
Thought I would send you another pic of what I used it for.
Again, many Thanks.
I just thought I would send you a photo of my project and the prototype car I've done for my ride!
I will be placing a further order for rest of my cars soon, I intend to light the cars with blue, orange and purple
Cotton candy or popcorn
Used lights to emphasize inside of popcorn stand in my Xmas Village Scene.
Truck for birthday
I was able to buy this light kit that runs off of a watch type battery, which actually included light switches (you can see them bottom left of the photo). I made the headlight covers out of (believe it or not) clear plastic from a water bottle and vellum, and put it all in a plain black picture frame. see the whole article
LED night light/ flashlight. This was an elementary school project, it came out great!
Sleeping Beauty Castle
I'm a Disneyland fanatic so when I found a paper craft model of Sleeping Beauty Castle I wanted to make it as real as possible so I have been adding your LEDs to the castle/model to give it the same feel as actually being at the castle in Disneyland!
The model when finished will include 62 LED lights. 18 cool white, 11 orange, 15 warm white, 4 blue, and 4 of the fire.
The model includes flickering torches, lit stained glass windows, and even a pixie that flies and lights up over the castle.
Follow my updates on the project on thebackyardimagineer.blogspot.com :)
Enjoy the ride
Hi,Ive been working on my funfair model for the last 2 years 1/24th scale and fully working! I have used evan designs leds to light it and ive got stunning results! thanks guys
14 LEDS - red, blue, and green. The tricky part was the inline switch (included with purchase) which fit perfectly in the cavity under the battery. The on/off button was not high enough to push through the control hole - solved by epoxing a red cap off another switch to make it higher.
This is a crystal looking chapel in our Curio cabinet that came with a 3 AAA battery powered one LED which I hard wired to an adapter. I finally went with Evan Designs 12 volt adapter and one white LED which is always on symbolizing eternal love.

Here is a short video clip that I made of my completed Jukebox in O scale 1:48, using your excellent flashing LEDs. It has been temporarily mounted into what soon will be the interior of Wally's Fish 'n' Chips Shop, just for this video.
(Naturally, the song is NOT coming from the Jukebox..)
Just want you all to know, that even though I do model trains (at Xmas around the tree), I use your LEDs for guitar and amp lights (see pictures).
You make it so easy as all the voltage is calibrated with matching resistors! I used to have to use the formula to calculate what resistor to use with the LED and
then multiple LEDs would make it even harder.
I used your LED's to Light a 1995 Kenner Remote Control Batmobile from Batman Forever Movie.
Thanks for the easy install instructions your product was a joy to install. Great Products!!!

Thank you again! I'll definitely be a return customer and will recommend your site to others.

I would like to thank your company for not only providing the lights and power supplies on your website, but also for the great information regarding their implementation. I am not a miniatures enthusiast, by any means, but when the idea occurred to me to use lights in my sculpture, modeltrainsoftware.com was the only website on which I could locate what I was looking for. The lights are easy to use, not the complicated bits with no explanation that the very few other websites carrying similar products seem to be. I am sending pictures of the first of my stone sculptures, an alabaster tiger lily, containing an LED from your site.
The pictures include one for scale and a sense of the delicacy of the piece. The second is of the finished piece, unlit, and the third is of the finished piece, lit.
I am at this time completing a second, larger work that will again be lit by your LED's, hopefully to be done soon.
The Fairy Theater is my first toy theater lit by LED lights. I intend to make a whole line of fun lights for my toy theaters and mixed media projects. You can light up almost anything semi-transparent with LED lights, and they actually run quite awhile on batteries, with the option of a permanent power source. I discovered that interior lights add a realism that you can't get any other way. It creates space, accentuates color, and makes the scale appear more natural. In Spirit houses, for instance, I often mix scales and the interior lighting creates a unified dreamlike quality.

Ford pickup truck up front
"Here are three photographs of the painted hardwood, extended Ford pickup truck, which I just completed for my grandson, utilizing your LED lights. I used two clear soft white LED lights for each of the front lights, which are drilled from the back side by approximately .750 thousandths deep. The acrylic disks are 1.00" in diameter by .500 thick, glued and stacked together. Two red LED's for the tail lights. The yellow and red reflector 'light' material. I purchased from 'Auto Zone" and cut down with a jig saw. The battery and battery strap are recessed under the hood, which is removable, by using a counter bored Allen cap screw, which is drilled through the chassis and a 1/8" thick 'skid plate' to shield the wires, A ID/OD threaded aluminum insert 'receives' this 1/4-20 threaded bolt. This insert is recessed and epoxied to the underneath side of the maple hood. The main chassis is routed out to 'channel' all the wires, then the skid plate is added and wood screwed into the chassis. The Royal Blue paint is Valspar enamel paint and the light gray is their flat primer. I tried to duplicate my grandson's father's extended cab pick up truck, but, downsized it a bit with a few alterations The original plans are from 'Toys and Joys' from Washington state. I just decided this pickup truck could use some LED lights to improve it's overall presentation 'looks'. Hope you like the results." Thomas

Thank you to Mike Maddi PuppetToys for these great images of the latest to be lit with Evan Designs LEDs.
Whale in the water
"Right now I only have one set of the blue flickering lights, so it's brighter on the right side. I plan to put in an opposite set on a different flicker pattern so that what you see on the walls and floor is more intricate and ever-changing like real water. They look fantastic!" Tess Elliot
