This tiny slide switch is a great on/off switch for projects where space is very restricted.

Dimensions:

  • The height of the slide switch base is 3.4mm
  • The height of the slide switch sticking up from the base is also 3.4mm
  • This makes the slide switch's total height 6.8mm

Rating:

25 volt 0.5 amp rated, this slide switch can control up to 25 LEDs.

We have prewired the switch with 8" red kynar wires. If you have not added a switch to a project before, you add in the switch by connecting 1 of the red wires to the positive wire coming from your power source, the other red wire on the switch goes to the red of the LEDs you plan to control. Both red wires go to a red wire.

Great switch

This switch does exactly what you expect. The mechanism took a little more force than I expected to toggle so make sure the switch itself is well secured to your project so it doesn't come loose.

Tiny single pole slide switch.

By adding this switch out the bottom of my cabooses I added flashing lights to top of caboose. I installed a 9 volt battery inside the caboose.
